Liliya Korchynska

My name is Liliya. I work as a medical nurse in the children's hospital. I was born in a small town, which I love very much. I finished a secondary school in 1991 and then I started my studying in a medical college. In 1993 I graduated from the medical college with distinction, getting the qualification of a medical nurse.

Then I worked as a nurse in a medical post where I had a lots of duties: making and preparation of dressing for bandaging, taking patient's temperature, blood pressure and pulse, applying compresses, giving medicine, execution of doctor's prescriptions, keeping of medical documentation, giving injections, control of personal hygiene of patients, giving first aid in critical situation and after injury.

I am 37 years old Philippino working presently in Singapore as a nanny for a 3 years old child.

My objective is to help improve lives by applying my skills in care giving that I acquired from my training courses and previous experiences.

Care giving is really close to my heart and I believe this is one of the greatest ways to touch people lives, especially those who are in need.

My name is Hae Jung Cho (Stella) and I am from Korea.

I enrolled the Personal Support Worker in Canada. I wanted to try it to know whether it was good for me or not. I had the practical in the dementia unit in a Nursing Home.There are a lot of things that human being cannot understand.

At the ER, I enjoyed it because I could learn a lot of treatments such as suture assisting, checking BP, pulse and respiration, dressing, plaster cast and I could meet all kind of patients such as drunk, broken nose, leg and finger, pumping blood, mental problem, suicide, babies, the worst case was hemorrhage and CPR for the dead.

I am 34 years old single. I was working as a counting staff in Liana's supermarket and department store from 1997 to 1999.

I can do all domestic duties and responsibilities because I am a hardworking person and I worked in this capacity from June 2001 till August 2003 in Kuwait.

Theresa Roxas Sabaduquia

I am Theresa Sabaduquia, 45 years old, married and have 5 children. I am a teacher by profession and I have completed my college degree as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

I am working as a teacher in Elementary School since 1987. I also did all my household chores and care for my children by myself.

I am aiming myself that somehow, someday I will be able to work there in Canada, help your family and take care of your children.
